We were all worn out from the redeye flight. We just relaxed at Grandma and Grandpa's until they got home from work.
Colleen and I hung out on the porch. It was a cool and cloudy day.
Grandpa got home first. He was so excited to see us that he turned around and left. I guess Grandma didn't tell him we were coming.
BB and Travis emerged from the house to see who was here.
It was very nice just hanging out. The temperature was perfect.
My sister Wendi was next. Other than Amanda, the rest of us haven't seen her for about 4 years!
Now Grandma! Welcome home.
Now that's a ham! Basically we had a pig roast in the oven.
Sitting in the porch here is a great experience. Squirrels come up and wait for you to give them nuts, hummingbirds come up to the feeders while you are sitting there, birds come looking for bread, etc.
Here's one of the hummingbirds. They seem a bid smaller than the ones out in Washington. They come a few dozen times a day.
Relaxed and beautiful.
BB was getting to know one of the neighbor's cats and Travis and Mom went to check on her.
One of the many squirrels that come up looking for some peanuts. Mom keeps several bags of nuts around to feed them.
On our way to Cedar Point.
Are we there yet? How about now....
Travis couldn't take it anymore.
Welcome to Sandusky, we're almost to Cedar Point!!!
Sitting in the lobby of the Sandcastle Suites at Cedar Point. Waiting for Mom to get our park passes, so we can head out to the rides.
We're in the park!!! Time to hit some rides.
Amanda and Brittany getting ready to ride the Magnum XL.
Here they go.
Amanda makes the best faces. Notice the guy in front of them looking back. I could hear them screaming over everyone else on the ride.
Is that a snow cone or a flavored iceberg?
Travis waiting in line to bounce.
I loved the kid in green's face. Had to keep this one.
The corkscrew over the walkway is very kewl.
Brittany on the skyride.
Colleen was very scared to ride this, but gritted her teeth and did it. Good job Momma.
Travis loved the skyride. He wanted to ride it over and over.
Phew, it's over.
We got back to the hotel just after sunset. What a wonderful day.
The girls played in the water a bit before we called it a day.
